How do I create a household?

Open the app and sign in with Google or Apple. You will be guided through creating your first household automatically.

How do I invite members?

Go to the Household section and tap "Invite". You will receive an invite code to share with the person you want to invite.

How do I scan a receipt?

Go to Receipts, tap the plus button, and select "Scan receipt". Take a photo or pick from your gallery. The app reads amounts and items automatically.

How do I plan weekly meals?

Go to Meals and open the weekly planner. Tap a day to add recipes. You can then drag recipes between days to move them.

Can multiple people be signed in at the same time?

Yes! All household members see changes in real-time. Lists, calendar, and meal plans sync instantly.

How do we split costs?

Log expenses under Receipts or Projects. EpiHem automatically calculates who owes whom and suggests settlements.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to settings and select "Delete account". All your data will be permanently deleted.

Does the app cost anything?

EpiHem offers a free version with basic features. Some features like receipt scanning, meal planning, and projects require a premium subscription. One subscription per household is enough. All members get access. Prices are shown in the app.
